 One of my 2019 goals is to keep better track of the fics I read, and rec them more often. So I'm going to sticky a few links here to the masterpost placeholders I've put up! They'll fill as I read things.

This is great, I love seeing what other people rec while simultaneously to disorganized/scatterbrained/forgetful to ever manage it myself.

This is the first time I've managed to put one together! I think the tumblrpocalypse had me thinking more about interacting with fandom more, and one of the ways I can contribute is by boosting the pieces I really enjoy.

Woo-hoo! With Alexx retiring from recs it will be nice to have other fans/writers putting their lists up.

I'm going to miss alexxphoenix42 so much! Luckily it looks like they're archiving all their lists onto DW, so I'm gonna go through them all. I'm hoping others take up the mantle, because fic recs are one of my major ways of finding new content.

One of the Admins of the I am JohnLocked facebook group is making an archive of the recs from Tumblr and posted this tonight:

"I have the main content of almost every one (some of the links are broken) of Alexxphoneix42's fic-rec posts from Tumblr copied over to a set of Google Docs (there's a file size limit on docs). Huge thanks to a few people we are still going to be working on adding the links back to AO3 on each fic in the documents, but that will take time, and in the mean time if you want to read something in the lists just search AO3 for the author & title. Since these files are incomplete, I would ask that you please not copy & save them off somewhere just yet and just bookmark these links instead. Once they are totally done being updated with links, I'll make another post, and comment on this one as well."

This is a great thing she's doing because who knows what will happen to the posts on Tumblr, and even if they are put on DW - the more backups the better!
