(I wanted to test my new BackBlaze storage, and also: this is Episode One (1). Watson's only just now checking out the flat. Holmes just got done listing all his worst qualities as a flatmate. And this is how they're choosing to look at each other. Help me.)

And of course, the episode ends with a date at the opera and Watson serenading Holmes with the Magic Flute. Don't bother sending an ambulance, I'm dead already.

These two arguing over their things like they own each others' stuff and Mrs Hudson being completely unflappable. Episode 2 is coming along gorgeously.

These two are so very stuck on each other. :D When I was making the vid, it was no problem at all to find affectionate moments between these two -- in fact, it was a job to choose which moments I wanted. I had more favorites than space in the vid for them. :-)

And this is a strong Watson, too, which is always a plus: competent and active, curious and wanting to try his own hand at investigating. They're just lovely to watch.

I truly adore this Watson: Vitaly Solomin has a very good balance between Watson's military background and Victorian British Male stoicism, and the gorgeous flashes of laughter and fondness. And there is so much fondness in this series!

He's one of my favorite Watsons. :-)

These Russian tv movie? They're life. I adore them! Acting is brilliant, setting is gorgeous, the reinterpretation of ACD novels works just fine ("The tiger hunt" is my fave), and there're many lovely moments between Holmes and Watson.

I'm starting on The Tiger Hunt! I'm very excited. Poor Watson is currently missing Holmes terribly.
